OKAY so I’ve had my week of lazing around playing pokemon online and… not much else, but now it’s time to be productive again! Remember how I said I wanted to make a game adaptation of dog problems?? That never stopped being a thing. So I’ll give myself a week of playing with that idea and then I’ll have two weeks of revision before my first set of uni exams!!
I have a programming exam that has eight hours allocated to it and I’m not sure how that works yet. Shshshshshshh, only dog problems now.
I can be on a tumblr break and still post, right?
More dog problems, I want there to be a bit where you go down a pile of luggage and also there’s a light? Rough stuff.
Uni has me busy but I really want to finish Dog Problems! I planned out the basic progression when I visited home this weekend (on paper??). I want to set this next weekend to finishing it, it’s not like it’s even a big project. The arrival of my kc green books today has made me want to do it more than ever. I expected to be waiting another week at least. Look, I was so excited I took a photo :O
I asked him to sketch himself drawing sketches. It’s beautiful.
I think I’m going to keep this black and white like the original comics. And I’ll handwrite (handpixel?) the font because I like how it looks.

I’ve been in such a slump - I haven’t done anything creative for days. I suppose I am on my holidays but part of me can’t get out of the mindset of needing to make stuff constantly? So I want to pick up an idea I had a while ago of turning esteemed internet comic maker KC Green’s series of comics “dog problems” into a game. For fun and productivity! I remember reading through all of his Gunshow collection when I first stumbled across him and they stuck out. Read them here, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Um, if it wasn’t clear, I think KC is the bomb. The comics bomb.
